Work and Play

Lori borrowed one of her Dad's work shirts and then she and Matthew got to work at removing the last of the wallpaper in the dining room.

It was impossible with all the hours that Neal has been working for him to do it and my wrist just never gets a chance to heal because of the yard work etc. that I have to do.

Many thanks for the full day's work that you both put in.

Now it's on to sanding, texturizing and painting. Soon it will be finished.

Matthew picked up tickets for the double header at PGE Park. The Beavers were playing the SLC Bees. Yeah, our seats were right behind home plate!

We indulged ourselves with the $2.00 hot dogs before the game started.

This is the mascot named Lucky who kept the children happy.

You can see from the scoreboard that right up until the last inning of the game that the score was nil to nil.

Neal captured this score for the Beavers - a home run! The Beavers won the first game against the Salt Lake Bees which is the farm team for the Angels.

I just had to get a photo of the little boy who sat next to me during the first game. I was intrigued by how his hat folded his ear over.

He was so cute!

Lori stuck out her tongue at her Dad when she realized that he was taking her picture.

This next photo is of the home run made by the Bees in the second game which they easily won.

We really had a great time. The weather couldn't have been more perfect.
