Dayton's Third Birthday

We left home at around 4:30 to get to Don's and Gaylynne's house for Dayton's birthday party. Marilyn and Gaylynne were busy in the kitchen and we didn't see Don so we headed upstairs where Courtney entertained us with postcards and stories.
I didn't take very many pictures but these sort of tell the story of our evening.

Emma posed for me and looks so adorable.

Dayton and Courtney are awaiting the rest of the food. There is always good food and plenty of it when they have us over for dinner. Yummy!

In this photo Dayton is showing us with his fingers how old he is.

You can see that the table is now just packed with food. I especially loved that great big bowl of mashed potatoes.

Dayton patiently waited for us to come in the living room so he could open his gifts.

Courtney made this little egg toy for Dayton all by herself.

They don't get any more handsome than this!

Dayton loved being the center of attention and getting so many cars, trucks, and airplanes.
The girls were having as much fun as he was. Don, especially liked the remote controlled car.

When told to give his Grandpa a big hug, Dayton ran across the room and fell into Neal's arms.

This camping set that Gaylynne found was really enjoyed by all the kids.

Dayton blew out his three candles and enjoyed all of the attention. Gaylynne had worked very hard on making a train out of two sheet cakes. Very cute and delicious.
