He still has to grout it and put the moulding back up.
He'll do the stairs during the week and hopefully will start work on the kitchen. Since we are having guests for Sunday dinner we might want to rethink that one though.
We enjoyed our Stake Conference very much. President Anderson told us all to get out and enjoy the wonderful weather today. So we went home and changed our clothes and had some lunch. Then we got into the car and drove around Portland and took some pictures.
Then there is one of our favorite Chinese food restaurants.
We spent a lot of hours in this theater, they make wonderful popcorn.
One of the best things about living so close to the city is the proximity of the theater.
This is a photo of the Arlene Schnitzer Auditorium where we have enjoyed many musical performances. We have wonderful memories of this place.
This next photo is the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Don invited us there to see him interpret Cyrano and also Red Badge of Courage.
The photos above are of Pioneer Square and of the Keller Auditorium which are two more places that we have enjoyed over the years.
It was a fun outing for us. After Dad read this blog he called it "Our hopeful eulogy for Portland".
