Beauty and the Beast

I headed for Newberg at 9:15 this morning to pick Grandma up.
There was no traffic and the weather was very nice. A little cold but very nice.
We drove to the shop where Dad was working and we all headed for the Culture Center in downtown Portland.
The Northwest Children's Theater and School were performing their version of Beauty and the Beast.
Dad parked the car after he dropped Grandma and me off in front of the building. We went inside not only to stay warm while we waited for the show to begin but also so that we could see the photos of the different musicals that this group has performed over the years.

The sets were cute and though it was quite dark in the theater Dad was able to get a couple of shots right before we were all told to turn off our cameras and telephones.

Dayton looked so cute. What a sweetie he is.

Great Grandma and Dayton "chatted" for a little bit while we waited for Gaylynne to bring the girls in.
What a wonderful way to spend 2 1/2 hours! The cast members were really very good.

I snapped these photos while we waited for Dad to bring the car to us.

Always cooperative in posing for photographs I got this adorable shot of them

Gaylynne was also busy taking photos.

Thanks Gaylynne, Don, and kids for a really wonderful Christmas present!
