Andrew's Cradle

Way back in August I got a brainy idea. "Hey Neal, I know you have a Gazillion things that you have to do but do you think that you could find a little time to make a cradle for Lori's and Matthew's new baby? If you put just 1 hour in each evening you could have it finished in time for the baby shower and we can load it up with the gifts and it will look so cute and it wouldn't cost very much money and I know she'd love it and it's not that hard, right? And...

Our first free Saturday we headed for the lumber store. I guess he checked more than one and I don't know where he bought the wood, but it started here.

The baby shower came and went. Time kept passing. Lots more work for the business, lots of Saturday meetings... Maybe it will be done in time to put in the car and take it to Utah with us.
Andrew was born early. Lori and Matthew borrowed Hannah's portable crib. "It will be shipped this week!" Yeah, that week went by. More meetings, Grandma's move, Church Activities... "Okay, it will be shipped on Tuesday". Yeah, Tuesday went by.
Lori, Matthew, Andrew - It should be shipped today if they are opened or Monday. No, No, Really. Dad's at the shop disassembling it now and writing instructions for assembly. He will pack it all up and we'll take it with us on our way to Grandma's house this afternoon. The shipping company is on the way.

Lori, get the mattress pad and sheets made. Baby's bed is coming!!!!!
